General Instructions:

  1. The total duration of the examination is 180 minutes.
  2. The clock will be set at the server. The countdown timer in the top banner profile section will display the remaining time available for you to complete the examination.
  3. When the countdown timer reaches zero, the examination will end automatically by the system. You will not be required to click end or submit your examination manually.
  4. The test consists of 180 questions spanning four specialized subject sections: Physics (1-45), Chemistry (46-90), Botany (91-135), and Zoology (136-180). The maximum achievable marks are 720.
  5. There is only one correct response for each objective-type multiple-choice question.
  6. Marking Scheme:
    • Each correct response will award +4 Marks.
    • Each incorrect response will result in a deduction of -1 Mark.
    • Unattempted or skipped questions will receive 0 Marks.

Understanding the Question Palette Status Indicators:

The Question Palette displayed on the right sidebar will display the status of each question within the active section using one of the following geometric symbols:

Not Visited (Light Gray Square): You have not visited or viewed this question yet.
Not Answered (Red Box with Bottom Curve): You have visited this question but have left it without selecting any answer option response.
Answered (Green Box with Top Curve): You have selected an option response and saved your selection.
Marked for Review (Deep Blue Circle): You have NOT answered the question, but have intentionally flagged it for review later.
Answered & Marked for Review (Deep Blue Circle with Green Check Badge): You have selected an option response and also marked the question for review. Note: Under official NTA guidelines, these responses will be automatically considered for final scoring evaluation if the test session expires.

Navigating to a Question:

To view or answer a question, use one of the following methods configured into the interface layout:

  • Click directly on any question number block inside the active section's Question Palette to jump to that question number immediately. Warning: Using this direct navigation method does NOT automatically save your answer response to the current question.
  • To save your response, you must utilize the comprehensive **Upper Control Tier Action Row** at the bottom of the viewport:
    • SAVE & NEXT: Click this green command button to save your selected option choice, lock it onto the palette as Answered (Green), and advance to the next sequential question.
    • SAVE & MARK FOR REVIEW: Click this purple command button to lock in your current option selection, flag it as Answered & Marked (Checked Circle) for revision, and advance to the next question.
    • MARK FOR REVIEW & NEXT: Click this amber command button to clear any temporary option choice, flag the item strictly as Marked for Review (Circle), and skip directly to the next question.
  • To navigate sequentially between questions without changing their saved database states, use the **Lower Control Tier Nav Row**:
    • < BACK: Moves back one question number. Any unsaved response changes will be discarded.
    • NEXT >: Skips forward one question number. If the question was unvisited, its status will turn to **Not Answered (Red)**.

Procedure for Answering Multiple Choice Questions:

  1. The response selection cards (**A, B, C, D**) are integrated horizontally directly beneath the central graphic question workspace canvas for rapid visual confirmation.
  2. To select an answer, click cleanly on any one of the four options. The chosen card will instantly display a distinct blue border ring indicator highlighting your selection.
  3. To change your response, click on a different option card. The system will switch tracking automatically.
  4. To completely deselect or wipe out a chosen answer response, click the active card a second time (toggling it off) or click the **CLEAR** button in the upper control tier. This will return the question state to **Not Answered (Red)**.
  5. To formally save and record your choice, you MUST click the SAVE & NEXT or SAVE & MARK FOR REVIEW button.

Navigating Through Exam Subject Sections:

  1. The major test branches are split cleanly across the top header row via structural navigation tabs: Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology.
  2. Clicking any subject tab automatically shifts your environment viewport directly to the 1st question of that section (e.g., clicking Chemistry instantly launches Question 46).
  3. The Question Palette filters dynamically upon section swapping. It will only show the 45 question grid modules belonging to that chosen subject alongside its isolated status summary counters.
  4. You are permitted to shuffle, cross-navigate, and change answers across all four subject categories seamlessly at any point during your active 180-minute practice block.
  5. To finalize your paper and view your metrics score overview, click the green SUBMIT button located at the bottom-right corner of the lower control tier.
Review Mode: Kindly close this pop up to return to attempting the questions.
